FAQ - World Globe for Kids

What size is the globe?

9" in diameter, 11.2" in height, including its stand.

Does it take batteries or plug in?

No batteries are required. The globe comes with a power cord, on/off switch, and a wall plug.

Can you replace the bulb if it burns out?

Yes. Refer to the manual inside the box. If you do not have it anymore, write us at customer-service@smartwallaby.com and we'll send it to you.

Are the US states labeled on the globe?

Yes.

Do the cards include all countries of the world?

The cards include the world's 52 most populated countries + 2 games instructions cards.

What age group is the card game for?

There are a few different games in varying levels of difficulty you can play with the cards and the globe, so it fits young kids who can read, but can also challenge adults as well.

What age group is this globe for?

While kids of a very young ages will enjoy it as a night light, children who can already read will benefit the most.  7-12 is the most appropriate age group.

What material is the globe made of?

The globe itself is thick PVC. The rest is made of metal.

Do the constellations change with the seasons?

No. The constellations remain in the same place year-round.

Can you light up the globe or just the constellations?

In order for the constellations to show in the dark, the day view geographic map of the globe cannot be illuminated.

what type of bulb should I get as a replacement?

First, make sure you're getting a 110V LED bulb. The bulbs we use are:

• E12 screw base
• Candelabra
• Natural White light (4000K)
• 3 Watts
